Indivisible Redding Shasta supports the mission of the national Indivisible Movement to remove the Trump regime, defend democracy and resist authoritarianism in our country and our own backyard.
In a county increasingly dominated by far-right extremism, we are standing up to fight back.
We believe that demanding true democracy requires more than just voting. It means tackling the deep corruption in our political system by:
• Repealing Citizens United
• Enforcing term limits and age limits
• Ending insider trading by elected officials
• Challenging the two-party monopoly
• Stopping the use of our tax dollars to fund foreign wars and genocide
Our path forward is nonviolent resistance. We organize, educate, and mobilize our community to take action.
We also understand that real change demands courage. It means pushing ourselves and others out of our comfort zones and into meaningful, cooperative work.
